T.G.I.F.!

I live for Friday's these days! It seems work is a tiny bit busier this week. I hope that it keeps up that way.

Today is Jen's bday. Wow she is getting old!! Crazy! If she keeps this up we are no longer going to be able to be mother and daughter- we will have to change it to sisters. Im not old enough to have a child her age!!

I will watch the baby tonight after work. Just me and her and Ben, unless Beno goes to Chris's house.

NO other plans for tonight. Need to cook for her party tomorrow. I get to bring potatoes, carrot soufflet, and I think I will surprise her with a pineapple upside down cake. I haven't made one of those for her in about 20 years, maybe a little less, maybe like 16, but still!! She will be surprised!

I have to shop for her a gift too. Sheesh!! We just had Mother's Day. Between my kids and my mother it cost me $160!

I think no more birthdays and stuff that I have to worry about until October- except little presents, but nothing BIG!

I got the laundry room fairly cleaned yesterday morning. Not like I want it, but that will have to wait until I complete the shed (whew!- may take all summer long (KID ROCK), I did get started on that too!).

It is clean enough that I was able to steam most of the floor last night. I had to take care of floors too for when the baby is here. Not that she is crawling anymore, but still...

I have plans for the laundry room. There will hardly be anything left in it when the shed and the back porch are done! I am so exctied!! I haven't decided what color that I am going to paint it, but I have decided that I am going to get a long dowel and make some curtains and that is how I am going to hide the shelving.

I would paint a mural on the back wall with all the leftover paint, but I eventually would really like a back door that leads outside.

I have been a little stressed about money these days with no more child support coming. I have two months to make it thru and then hopefully I will get school money and then it will be income tax time again, and maybe by then I will have cut back on some expenses or something!

I did cut the phone bill. So far it adds up too.... possibly $95. I cut out the extra cell phone which was $50. Ben got a Cricket, but hopefully he will work a little here and there with Chris to pay for it. I cut out the long distance $15 since he has it free on his phone and I cut the cable from $60 to $30. No more Spike. I really liked Spike. I wish they would let you pick what channels you want. We watch like 10 and 1/2 of those we don't get anymore. The rest are just crap!

Time to go move the hose out back, feed the dogs, feed the fish, wake up the kids - ONLY FOUR MORE DAYS OF SCHOOL!!! And take my shower.

I can't believe school is done. They will be going to Grace next fall. Im a little dissapointed. I was really looking forward to no uniforms. I know that it is only shirts, but still. Yuk!!! But, they do have more sports to offer. The only reason Aaron picked that one is because of the golf program for Aaron!! I know it is!!!

We will have to go there a time or two (again) so that the kids will (hopefully) get to know kids that go there!
